my dear mid-sem break

15th April (right in the middle of having our holidays)

6.30 am in the morning..with drizzles, lightning and still-dark sky
haven't even taken breakfast & we're supposed to get ready to carry out a group assignment o.O"

what are we to do at this hour?
~ make a visit to the kitchen of Atrium cafe of Sunway Resort Hotel

*they made us WAIT in hungry & sleepy condition >.< walk here, walk there..
observe this, observe that..
take pics everywhere..

all that done -- finally went for breakfast outside

then to Starbucks cafe in Pyramid just to have WAITED 1 hour for the 5-minute free shuttle bus ride to uni..lol..

mind u, we're all deprived of precious sleep the night before, for the sake of major assessment.. so, all of us just took the chance to sit down & rest there..doing Nothing at all..

reached uni shortly, summarize some of the things we needed for the day later..
because we're required to do a presentation on our observational session earlier on..

after lunch, WAITED again for bus to come so we could get back to sunway resort hotel again..

WAITED some more for everyone to get settled down..then proceed to the presentation

already stressed up with so many assignments WAITING in line, yet they expect much from us poor uni students doing the audit thing for the very 1st time..

and demand us to provide 'quality' suggestions as their solutions

but they're willing to spare us time for us to do some research on what recommendations we can give them

yea, and probably to give them a copy of our reports within a week's time
(no big deal if we have no other assignments to do..but that's not the case anyway..so "congratulations" is all i can say)

yup, done with the tensed meeting we had with the safety officers, hygiene manager, executive assistant manager for F & B division, etc..

and that ends the long long tired day..

if u think at least we're a bit free to relax after the 'tour' to the kitchen

guess not, because..
out of 14 weeks in a semester, we're given 1 week mid-sem break
yet,
Monash version of holidays still equals to pile of assignments
(except only minus time for attending classes/labs/tutorials)

conclusion: no holiday

what makes it worst?
internet connection break down - frustrated
tough assignments - headache

the last place i wanna be during a holiday is perhaps going back to uni, yet i still end up there 3/4 days of the only 1 week break we have..how pathetic

but i'm not the only one, cos the evidence is the library is still packed with students doing assignments in uni..

the library does not even deserve some peace afterall during holiday..

where is my real mid-sem break holiday?
hmm, it's already friday today, guess there's no such thing anymore & 'break' gonna be gone soon anyhow..

i want holiday !!!
i NEED a break desperately ..

the only relief we get will be the temporary membership pass to Euphoria (MoS - ministry of sound) via free admission..

stop dreaming- it's still too early to mention..at least until work is finished
